The Juror Module is designed to streamline and manage the jurying process for exhibitions. It enables administrators to efficiently set up jurors, create voting records, and monitor results, ensuring a smooth and organized evaluation process. Through the module, jurors can easily access their assignments, cast votes, and update their decisions, providing flexibility and ease of use.

### **Backend**
#### **Setup Process**
Jurors should only be set **after** the intake for an Exhibition has been completed, verified, and any withdrawals processed. (Entries submitted after a juror)
1. **Create Juror Account**
- The juror must have an account in Canvas.
- Ensure the account is designated as an "Artist/Vendor" account.
2. **Access Juror Setup**
- Navigate to the **Exhibitions Page**.
- Locate the desired exhibition and click on the **'jurors'** link.

3. **Add a Juror**
- On the Juror Setup page, you will see a list of jurors already assigned to the selected exhibition, if any.

- Begin typing the juror's last name in the text entry box.
- A list of matches will appear below the box.
- Select the juror's name from the list; do not manually type the full name.
- Once selected, the juror’s name will be displayed under the "Selected Juror" label. If the name does not appear, repeat the selection process.

4. **Generate Voting Record**
- After selecting a juror, click on the **Create Voting Record** button.
- The system will confirm the creation of the voting record on the screen.

5. **Additional Jurors**
- Repeat the above steps to add more jurors to the selected exhibition.
6. **Verify Setup**
- Generate the Voting Record report to confirm the records are set up correctly.
- This page can also be used to print or export voting results after voting is completed.

### **Storefront**
#### **Juror Portal**
Jurors designated as "Artists" will have access to the juror page in the storefront. This page is located under **Account** and provides the following:
- A list of assigned exhibitions for the juror.
- Only exhibitions that are **not closed** will appear, regardless of whether voting records still exist for closed exhibitions.
- The ability to cast votes for the entries in a listed exhibition.
#### **Voting Options**
The storefront can be configured to display votes using one of the following scales:
1. **Number Scale (0-5):**
- Default setting.
- Provides more nuanced voting options.
2. **Accept/Reject Scale (0-1):**
- Simplified binary option.

#### **Voting Process**
- Jurors can update their vote at any time while the exhibit remains open.
- Votes are auto-saved when the selection is changed.
- All votes are stored as numeric values, regardless of the display format.
