## Overview
The Art Center Canvas storefront can be configured to **automatically check for balances and credits** during the checkout process. If this feature is not enabled, please **contact support** for assistance.

## Applying Credits During Checkout
### Credit Application
- If an account has a **credit balance**, the storefront will automatically prompt the user to **apply available credits** to their purchase during checkout.
- Any **remaining credit** will stay on the account for future use.
- If the credit **does not cover the full amount**, the user will be prompted to **pay the difference** using standard payment methods.

## Paying Off Balances on the Storefront
### 1. Displaying Outstanding Balances
- If a user's account has an **outstanding balance**, it will be displayed prominently in the **storefront**.
- Users will be offered the **option to pay off the balance** as part of their **checkout transaction**.
### 2. Preventing Purchases with Unpaid Balances
- The system can be configured to **require users to pay off existing balances** before completing **new purchases**.
- This feature can help ensure **financial accountability** and prevent accumulating **unpaid balances**.
